台灣先查證期局合法業者，再比較平台、成本與執行
金管會證券期貨局提供證券商、期貨商等特許事業名冊，並設有防範非法證券期貨業的投資人專區。對台灣居民來說，真正重要的是實際簽約的公司與主管機關資料，而不是只看品牌或海外牌照。

Watch Matthew Jackson, founder of GradTraders.com, trade around the Tokyo cash-market open every Monday in the GradTraders £200 simulated-funds Nikkei 225 Challenge. In Taiwan, the livestream begins shortly before 8:00 AM Taipei time, around an hour before regular TWSE trading begins.

Watch Tokyo first, then prepare for the 9:00 AM Taiwan open
Tokyo is one hour ahead of Taipei. When the Tokyo cash market opens at 8:00 AM Taipei time, regular TWSE trading is still an hour away. TWSE orders can be entered from 8:30 AM and regular trading begins at 9:00 AM.
That gives Taiwan viewers time to see the Tokyo opening reaction before preparing for local orders and the 9:00 AM cash session.
Traditional Chinese captions: turn on CC in YouTube, then choose Settings → Subtitles → Auto-translate → Traditional Chinese. If captions are not available live, check the replay afterwards.
The Challenge uses simulated funds, with performance updated weekly through the livestream archive and the Matthew Jackson Trading Record.
Check the Securities and Futures Bureau first, then compare platforms, costs and execution
Taiwan’s Securities and Futures Bureau publishes lists of licensed securities and futures businesses and maintains investor warnings about illegal securities and futures operators. For a Taiwan resident, the key question is the company you would actually contract with and what the local regulator says about it.

E8 Markets has the clearest Taiwan-specific product rules; FTMO, The5ers and Funded Trading Plus offer different alternatives
E8 Markets is the first prop-firm comparison for Taiwan. It suits traders who want a newer account structure and platform choice, and its Taiwan product eligibility is unusually clear: Taiwan can currently purchase E8 Pro and E8 Signature, while E8 One and E8 Zero are unavailable.
E8 Markets
Why it leads: E8 Markets is the modern challenger in this group, with a different account structure and platform choice. For Taiwan, it also publishes the product restriction directly.
The country is determined from KYC documents. Taiwan can currently purchase E8 Pro and E8 Signature only, so recheck Accepted Countries before payment.
FTMO
Why compare it alongside E8: FTMO has clearly structured evaluation rules, a long operating history and remains the main GradTraders benchmark for risk management and overall maturity. Taiwan is not currently on its published restricted-country list.
FTMO Challenge and FTMO Account use simulated trading environments rather than conventional brokerage accounts funded with your own cash.
The5ers
Why compare it: The5ers suits traders who prefer patient progression and scaling rather than focusing only on rapid evaluations. Taiwan is not on its current published Forbidden Territories list.

TradingView covers Taiwan-market charting, Forex Tester provides a Traditional Chinese backtesting route, and TraderSync handles post-trade review.
TradingView
Why it leads: TradingView’s Traditional Chinese Taiwan site covers the TSEC Weighted Index, Taiwan stocks, sectors and company charts while keeping the Nikkei 225 and other global markets in the same watchlist, chart and alert environment.
That works naturally if you watch the Tokyo open first and then prepare for the 9:00 AM Taiwan cash session.
Forex Tester
Why it is useful: Forex Tester Online currently has a zh-TW route and provides historical-market backtesting and simulation. An idea seen on the livestream can be written into rules and tested over a larger sample.
TraderSync
Why it is useful: TraderSync keeps entries, exits, screenshots, mistakes and recurring patterns in one trading journal so you can review a longer record rather than relying on memory.
Whether you trade Taiwan stocks, indices or overseas markets, the purpose is the same: identify what you genuinely do well and what you keep repeating.

The Securities and Futures Bureau publishes current lists of licensed securities and futures businesses and maintains information about illegal securities and futures operators. Those are better starting points for a Taiwan resident than an overseas brand homepage.

Use the formal company name to check the Taiwan licensed-business information. If your client agreement names a different overseas entity, do not confuse it with a Taiwan-listed firm.
Check warnings about illegal operators
For unfamiliar investment websites, social-media approaches or offshore services, review the regulator’s warnings before providing personal information or money.
Prop firms and software are not substitutes for a Taiwan brokerage licence
