Alpha Capital Group Review 2026: Is It A Serious Prop Firm?
Alpha Capital Group is a UK-headquartered prop firm with one-step, two-step, three-step, swing and instant-qualified routes. This independent GradTraders review examines the current July 2026 programme lineup, drawdown models, performance-fee rules, new Max Risk Rule, platforms, restrictions and where Alpha belongs inside the 24-firm GradTraders master research bank.

Independent review position: Alpha Capital Group is not a current primary GradTraders partner route. I have not personally purchased an Alpha evaluation, traded a Qualified Analyst account or completed a performance-fee withdrawal. The assessment is based on the firm’s current help centre, programme pages and legal terms, checked on 23 July 2026.
Compare first: Alpha is one of the 24 firms in the GradTraders master prop firm research bank. Its controlling role is UK-headquartered comparison: relevant for UK and international traders, but not automatically a better starting point than FTMO, The5ers, Funded Trading Plus or E8 Markets.
Quick Verdict: Alpha Is Serious, But The Exact Plan Controls The Answer
Alpha Capital Group is a serious prop firm to research. It is a UK company with a substantial public help centre, several evaluation structures, simulated account sizes up to $200,000 on most mainstream plans, an 80% standard performance-fee split and a route into Alpha Prime for a small group of high-performing traders.
The strongest part of Alpha’s offer is choice. Traders can compare static drawdown through Alpha Pro, swing-friendly conditions through Alpha Swing, one-step access through Alpha One, a three-step structure through Alpha Three and no-evaluation access through Alpha Direct.
That choice is also the main danger. A trader who buys from the headline price or number of steps can end up with the wrong drawdown model, payout method or weekend rule. Alpha One and Alpha Direct use trailing drawdown. Alpha Pro, Swing and Three use static drawdown. Qualified-stage news rules, best-day conditions and the new per-asset Max Risk Rule add another layer.
Alpha Pro 8% or 10% for traders who prefer static maximum drawdown and a conventional two-step structure.
Alpha Swing for traders who genuinely need weekend holding and more flexible news treatment.
Alpha Direct removes the evaluation, but its 5% trailing drawdown, 3% daily loss, 3% buffer and 15% best-day rule are demanding.
The Max Risk Rule can close a Qualified account when open drawdown on one asset reaches the applicable 1%, 2% or 3% threshold.
My view: Alpha deserves more respect than a thin affiliate-style review would suggest, but it also demands more rule reading than its polished branding implies. The firm is credible enough to compare seriously; the product menu is not simple enough to buy casually.

How The Alpha Capital Group Journey Works
Select The Correct Plan
Start with the drawdown model, daily-loss calculation, holding rules and payout route—not simply the lowest fee or shortest evaluation.
Meet The Objectives
Evaluation plans require profit targets and minimum trading days while maintaining daily and maximum-loss limits. Alpha Direct skips this stage.
Account Review And KYC
Passed accounts are reviewed for prohibited strategies and rule compliance. Identity checks are required before Qualified access or performance-fee processing.
Trade Under Qualified Rules
The profit target disappears, but payout conditions, news rules, lot exposure, Max Risk, allocation and account-review provisions become central.
Alpha’s terminology matters. Evaluation accounts and Qualified Analyst accounts are virtual accounts. The company’s terms say the virtual funds remain Alpha’s property and that performance fees can be paid from Alpha’s own funds based on eligible analysis. This is not the same structure as depositing personal capital with a regulated retail broker.
Alpha Capital Group Programme Comparison
| Plan | Target | Maximum Drawdown | Daily Loss | Minimum Days | Best Use Case |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Alpha Pro 6% | 6% then 6% | 6% static | 3%, higher of EOD balance/equity | 3 per phase | Lower targets with a tighter but fixed overall risk floor. |
| Alpha Pro 8% | 8% then 5% | 8% static | 4% balance-based | 3 per phase | Balanced conventional two-step route. |
| Alpha Pro 10% | 10% then 5% | 10% static | 5% balance-based | 3 per phase | Traders who prefer more static drawdown room and accept a higher first target. |
| Alpha Swing | 10% then 5% | 10% static | 5% balance-based | 3 per phase | Longer-duration traders who need weekend holding and more flexible news rules. |
| Alpha One 6% | 6% one-step | 4% trailing | 3% evaluation; 4% qualified | 1 | Fast low-target route for traders comfortable with tight trailing risk. |
| Alpha One 10% | 10% one-step | 6% trailing | 4% | 1 | One-stage route with more room than One 6%. |
| Alpha One 12% | 12% one-step | 8% trailing | 5% | 1 | Higher target in exchange for the largest One drawdown allowance; capped at $100,000. |
| Alpha Three | 8%, 4%, 4% | 6% static | 4%, higher of EOD balance/equity | 3 per phase | Patient traders who prefer smaller later-stage targets. |
| Alpha Direct | No evaluation | 5% trailing | 3%, higher of EOD balance/equity | No evaluation phase | Experienced traders accepting a buffer, 15% best-day rule and strict per-asset risk. |
There is no single “best” Alpha plan. The Pro 10% structure has the largest static drawdown but the highest first-phase target. One 6% has the lowest one-step target but only 4% trailing drawdown. Alpha Direct removes the assessment entirely, yet the funded-stage restrictions are the toughest in the range.
Alpha Capital Group Rating Breakdown
The category scores below are editorial judgements, not a promise that an individual trader will pass or receive a performance fee. The overall 8.2/10 reflects Alpha’s programme depth and documentation while applying meaningful deductions for route complexity, the new Qualified-stage Max Risk Rule and the absence of first-hand GradTraders evidence.
| Category | Score | GradTraders Assessment |
|---|---|---|
| Programme Choice | 9.2/10 | One of the broadest current menus: static, trailing, swing, one-step, two-step, three-step and instant-qualified options. |
| Published Rule Detail | 8.8/10 | The help centre and terms cover core objectives, payouts, platforms, allocation and prohibited activity in considerable detail. |
| Drawdown Usability | 8.0/10 | Static Pro and Swing routes are clear; One and Direct trailing models require more care. |
| Payout Structure | 8.2/10 | On-demand and bi-weekly routes provide choice, but best-day, minimum-profit, buffer and review conditions matter. |
| Strategy Flexibility | 7.5/10 | Several platforms and plan styles help, but news windows, automation limits, IP rules and per-asset risk reduce freedom. |
| Country And Platform Access | 8.0/10 | Broad international reach, though US and Canadian platform restrictions require checking. |
| Legal And Entity Clarity | 8.5/10 | The UK company, governing terms and virtual-account structure are publicly identified. |
| GradTraders Evidence | 6.5/10 | Research-led only; no direct challenge, support or payout test. |
| Overall | 8.2/10 | A serious UK-headquartered comparison with strong choice, but not a rule-light recommendation. |
What Is Alpha Capital Group?
Alpha Capital Group Limited is incorporated in England and Wales and operates a paid evaluation and Qualified Analyst model. The company says it is not a broker and does not accept trader deposits for personal trading. Customers purchase access to a simulated institutional-style environment and attempt to demonstrate a strategy under Alpha’s rules.
After completing an evaluation, an eligible trader can sign an Analyst agreement and receive a Qualified Analyst account. The account is still virtual. Alpha’s terms describe performance fees as payments that may be made from the company’s own funds based on eligible analysis and simulated performance.
This distinction is important because the marketing language of “$100,000 account” or “$200,000 account” can be misunderstood. Those figures describe virtual account balances and risk parameters, not personal cash owned by the trader.
How I Assessed Alpha Capital Group Without A Personal Account
I have not bought an Alpha Capital Group evaluation, used its support as a paying customer or completed a performance-fee withdrawal. I therefore do not claim personal evidence about slippage, dashboard stability, review speed or payout handling.
My research indicates that Alpha’s current public documentation is stronger than the old version of this review suggested. The firm now publishes detailed plan pages, payout criteria, platform limits, country restrictions, allocation rules and Qualified-stage risk provisions. That makes a serious desk-based assessment possible, but it does not replace a real account test.
I have rated the programme that Alpha publicly offers, not an imagined experience. Where a rule can depend on plan, purchase date, payout method, platform or country, the review says so rather than compressing it into a single promotional claim.
The July 2026 Changes Make Older Alpha Reviews Unreliable
Alpha’s current lineup has moved beyond the older description of Alpha One, Alpha Pro, Alpha Swing and Alpha Three. Alpha One now has 6%, 10% and 12% target variants. Alpha Pro has separate 6%, 8% and 10% tracks. Alpha Direct has introduced a no-evaluation Qualified account with a 90% split.
More importantly, the Max Risk Rule took effect for applicable Qualified accounts purchased after 21 July 2026. This rule sits alongside daily and maximum drawdown and measures floating loss on each asset. An article that lists only the headline drawdown percentages now misses one of the most important funded-stage constraints.
The practical lesson is simple: save the exact plan page and terms that apply when you buy. Do not assume a review written earlier in 2026 describes an account purchased today.
Alpha One: One Step Does Not Mean Easy
Alpha One compresses the evaluation into one phase and requires only one minimum trading day. That is commercially attractive, but its maximum drawdown trails the high-water mark until the floor reaches the starting balance.
One 6% pairs a 6% target with 4% trailing drawdown and a 3% evaluation daily limit. One 10% uses a 10% target, 6% trailing drawdown and 4% daily limit. One 12% raises the target to 12%, provides 8% trailing drawdown and uses a 5% daily limit, but the maximum account size is currently $100,000.
The trailing mechanism means profit can reduce future room. On One 10%, a $100,000 account begins with a $94,000 floor. If the balance reaches $102,000, the floor rises to $96,000. When the high-water mark reaches $106,000, the floor stops at the original $100,000 balance.
Withdrawal caution: Once the trailing floor has locked at the starting balance, withdrawing all profit can leave the account at the breach threshold and close it. Alpha advises leaving a buffer when continuing to trade.
Alpha Pro, Swing And Three: Static Drawdown Is The Main Advantage
Alpha Pro is the most conventional part of the range. Pro 6%, Pro 8% and Pro 10% use static maximum drawdown, so the overall floor does not rise after profitable trading. In my view, this makes them easier to model than Alpha One despite requiring two phases.
Alpha Swing broadly resembles Pro 10% on targets and drawdown but reduces leverage and lot exposure in exchange for rules intended for longer-duration trading. It allows weekend holding at the Qualified stage and handles news differently from the standard plans.
Alpha Three splits the journey into targets of 8%, 4% and 4%. It uses 6% static maximum drawdown and 4% daily loss based on the higher end-of-day balance or equity. Three phases can feel slow, but static risk may be preferable to a one-step trailing model for some traders.
Alpha Direct: No Evaluation, But A Demanding Qualified Account
Alpha Direct is the most significant recent addition. It is Qualified from purchase, so there is no profit target to pass. The trade-off is a 5% trailing maximum drawdown, 3% daily loss, no weekend holding, no EAs and the Max Risk Rule from the first trade.
Before the first on-demand request, a trader must build a 3% profit buffer and then generate at least another 1% gross profit above it. The buffer remains in the account. Alpha Direct also uses a 15% best-day rule, meaning the strongest day cannot represent more than 15% of total generated profit.
On a $100,000 account, Alpha’s example requires $3,000 to establish the buffer and at least $1,000 more before requesting a performance fee. If total profit is $4,000, the best day must be $600 or less. A $1,000 request above the buffer produces $900 at the current 90% split.
This is not “instant money.” It is instant entry into a restricted Qualified structure. Alpha Direct may suit experienced, consistent traders; it is a poor choice for anyone who interprets no evaluation as no challenge.
Daily Drawdown And Maximum Loss Need Separate Calculations
Alpha uses different daily calculations across the range. Pro 8%, Pro 10% and Swing use balance-based daily limits. Pro 6%, One, Three and Direct calculate from the higher of the end-of-day balance or equity at the broker-time reset.
This difference matters when positions are carried through the reset. A profitable floating position can raise the next reference point on the higher-of-balance-or-equity plans. A losing floating position can consume part of the following day’s available room.
Maximum drawdown is separate. Pro, Swing and Three have fixed floors. One and Direct trail the maximum account balance until the floor locks at starting balance. A trader can comply with one rule and still breach another, especially after a profitable run, an overnight hold or concentrated exposure.
Performance Fees: On-Demand vs Bi-Weekly
| Feature | On-Demand | Bi-Weekly |
|---|---|---|
| Availability | Supported Pro, Swing, One, Three and Direct accounts. | Currently available on supported Alpha Pro and Alpha Three accounts. |
| Timing | Request when eligible rather than waiting for a fixed cycle. | Every 14 days, beginning 14 days after the first Qualified trade. |
| Profit requirement | 2% gross for Pro, Swing, One and Three; Direct requires a 3% buffer plus at least 1% above it. | Minimum $100 gross profit. |
| Consistency | 40% best-day rule on mainstream plans; 15% on Direct. | No on-demand best-day calculation, but other strategy and review rules remain. |
| First request | Eligibility depends on the chosen plan and live account status. | At least five qualifying trading days using the same strategy for the first request. |
| Main benefit | Flexible timing. | Lower minimum gross profit and no need to satisfy the on-demand consistency calculation. |
“On demand” should not be read as “automatic.” Alpha can review rule compliance, lot exposure, strategy consistency, identity, payment details and account behaviour. Alpha currently states that performance-fee requests are processed and paid within two business days, although a rule-breach review can postpone payment.
The New Max Risk Rule Is The Most Important Qualified-Stage Change
For applicable accounts purchased after 21 July 2026, Alpha measures open drawdown separately on each asset. The published limits are 3% on $5,000, $10,000 and $25,000 accounts; 2% on $50,000, $100,000 and $200,000 accounts; and 1% on Alpha Direct at every size.
Multiple positions on one instrument are combined. If a trade is closed at a loss and reopened on the same asset in the same direction within ten minutes, Alpha can combine the losses for the threshold. Reaching the limit closes the account and all open trades.
This rule is independent of daily drawdown and maximum loss. A $100,000 Pro account can have a 10% static maximum drawdown but still fail when floating loss on one asset reaches 2%. That is a major difference between headline account risk and usable trade-level risk.
My judgement: The Max Risk Rule is defensible as anti-gambling risk control, but it materially reduces the freedom implied by a large static drawdown. Any Alpha review that omits it is now incomplete.
News, Weekend Holding, EAs And Trade Duration
During evaluation phases, news trading is generally more flexible. On Qualified Pro, One, Three and Direct accounts, Alpha currently prohibits opening or closing targeted instruments from five minutes before until five minutes after specified high-impact events. A stop-gain or take-profit triggered inside the window can create a soft breach and make the profit ineligible.
Alpha Swing is the more flexible plan for event and weekend traders. Its news rule uses a shorter window with a minimum duration condition, and weekend holding is allowed. Alpha One and Three also allow weekend holding at all stages. Pro allows it during evaluation but not on the Qualified account. Direct does not allow it.
Alpha requires the average duration of trades to exceed two minutes. Individual trades can be shorter, but the overall average must remain above the threshold.
EA language also needs precision. Risk-management and trade-assistance EAs may be enabled on MT5, but fully automated entry systems, third-party bots, high-frequency models and latency-arbitrage strategies are prohibited. EAs are unavailable on cTrader, DXtrade and TradeLocker, and Alpha Direct disables them.
IP, Signals, Copy Trading And Prohibited Strategies
Alpha does not allow multiple people to access accounts through the same IP in the way many households might expect. Each household account must comply with the firm’s IP policy, and geographically impossible country changes can trigger review.
A static-IP VPN or VPS may be permitted when communicated in advance, but IP masking is prohibited. VPN or VPS use during KYC is not allowed.
Trading someone else’s signals is treated as group trading and prohibited. Automated copy services, coordinated trading, account rolling, gambling-style risk and attempts to exploit simulated fills can lead to profit removal, account closure or a broader platform ban.
The firm can also move Qualified traders into a Focused Trader Group with reduced leverage and lot exposure based on trading style and risk. This discretionary layer is another reason to treat the published headline leverage as a maximum rather than a permanent entitlement.
Platforms, Markets, Leverage And Trading Costs
Alpha currently supports MetaTrader 5, cTrader, DXtrade and TradeLocker. US residents can use supported non-MT5 routes, but cTrader is not accepting new US customers at present. Platform choice should be confirmed at checkout because country and new-customer access can change.
The tradeable list covers forex, major indices, oil and precious metals. Alpha Pro has the highest published leverage—up to 1:100 on forex, 1:30 on metals, 1:20 on indices and 1:10 on oil. One, Swing and Direct use lower leverage, while Three sits between them on forex.
Standard accounts are currently commission-free. Raw accounts charge $2.50 per lot in each direction, while indices remain commission-free. An optional swap-free add-on on eligible plans replaces overnight financing with an additional $5-per-lot charge in each direction and disables EAs.
Lot Exposure, Allocation, Merging And Scaling
Qualified Alpha Pro, One, Three and Direct accounts currently allow maximum combined exposure from 2.5 lots on $5,000 to 80 lots on $200,000. Swing uses half those figures. The limits apply to combined open exposure, not merely each individual ticket.
The maximum Qualified allocation is $400,000 per household before scaling, with no more than $300,000 on a single strategy. Alpha defines strategy in an asset-based way and can also treat correlated trades across accounts as one exposure.
Eligible accounts of the same type and platform can be merged when both are at starting balance, subject to a $300,000 merge limit. Alpha Pro, Swing and Three can scale after achieving 10% growth while retaining the required profit. Each scale adds 10% of the initial account balance, and the cumulative scaled allocation can reach $2 million.
Alpha Prime Is A Genuine Live Route, But It Is Not The Standard Outcome
Alpha Prime is presented as a traditional London proprietary-trading route for selected high performers. Published qualification triggers include five payouts from one Qualified account, $100,000 in lifetime Alpha payouts, a $40,000 single simulated payout or discretionary early selection.
Selected traders move from simulated accounts to Alpha Prime live accounts. Alpha describes benefits such as a possible salary option, weekly fund-manager calls, static drawdown and fewer consistency or news restrictions.
This strengthens Alpha’s overall proposition, but it should not be used to market every challenge as a direct path to live capital. Most customers are buying access to the evaluation and simulated Qualified model. Alpha Prime is a selective later-stage opportunity.
Country Access, KYC And Legal Position
Alpha says it serves more than 150 countries but publishes a restricted list covering sanctioned and unsupported jurisdictions. Nationality, residency and acceptable identity documents can all affect onboarding.
KYC requires government-issued identification and a live selfie. The registered account name must be accurate, third-party payments can create problems and VPN or VPS use during identity verification is prohibited.
The terms identify Alpha Capital Group Limited as the service provider and explain that the accounts are virtual. This is helpful legal clarity, but it is not the same as a regulated broker-client relationship or deposit-protection regime. A trader is purchasing a service governed by Alpha’s contract and virtual-trading rules.

Alpha Capital Group vs FTMO, The5ers, E8 And Funded Trading Plus
Within the 24-firm GradTraders master research bank, Alpha’s role is UK-headquartered comparison. It is not the controlling benchmark or the preferred patient-trader route, but it has enough depth to deserve a serious place in the shortlist.
| Firm | GradTraders Role | Why Compare It With Alpha? |
|---|---|---|
| Alpha Capital Group | UK-headquartered comparison | Best for comparing several modern plan types under one UK brand. |
| FTMO | Best benchmark | Use FTMO as the established reference point for structure, track record and brand maturity. |
| The5ers | Best patient-trader route | A more focused scaling-led proposition for traders who dislike chasing evaluation speed. |
| Funded Trading Plus | Best flexible partner route | Another multi-route provider with an active GradTraders partner path. |
| E8 Markets | Best modern challenger | Modern alternative with a different programme and dashboard emphasis. |
Traders who prefer the established benchmark can review the current FTMO partner route. Traders who prefer a patient scaling model can review The5ers; code UR06YMJ currently provides 10% off eligible purchases.
Who Is Alpha Capital Group Best For?
Rule-Focused Manual Traders
Alpha may suit traders who will choose the plan from drawdown, daily loss and holding rules rather than marketing speed.
UK And International Comparers
The UK entity and broad country coverage make Alpha a natural firm to compare with established global alternatives.
Swing Traders
Alpha Swing deserves attention from traders who require weekend holding and less restrictive event handling.
One-Step Buyers
The speed is attractive, but trailing drawdown can reduce usable room after profit.
Concentrated Asset Traders
The new Max Risk Rule makes per-asset floating loss more important than the headline account drawdown.
Fully Automated Traders
Alpha permits limited trade-management tools, not independent automated systems or third-party bots.
Is Alpha Capital Group Legit?
Alpha Capital Group is a real operating UK company offering a defined simulated evaluation and performance-fee service. Its entity, terms, programme rules, help centre, platform arrangements and country restrictions are publicly identifiable.
That supports describing Alpha as a serious prop firm. It does not guarantee that every trader will pass, keep an account or receive a requested performance fee. Legitimacy of the business model and suitability of a specific contract are separate questions.
I would not treat Alpha as an obvious scam, nor would I treat its UK location as a substitute for reading the rulebook. The sensible position is evidence-led: serious provider, complex programme, meaningful account risk.
Alpha Capital Group Or A Broker Account?
Alpha offers access to larger simulated balances without the trader depositing an equivalent amount of personal capital. In return, the trader accepts evaluation fees, virtual-account rules, performance-fee review and the possibility that a breach ends the account.
A broker account uses the trader’s own capital and normally gives direct ownership of the balance and withdrawal decisions, subject to the broker’s legal terms. It can also provide wider automation freedom and no external profit target.
The nominal account size should not decide the comparison. A $100,000 Alpha account may have only a few thousand dollars of usable drawdown and additional per-asset restrictions. Compare usable risk, ownership, fees, probability of survival and withdrawal control.

Final Verdict: Is Alpha Capital Group A Serious Prop Firm?
Yes. Alpha Capital Group is a serious prop firm to research and a credible UK-headquartered comparison inside the GradTraders 24-firm master research bank.
Its strengths are programme choice, detailed public rules, static-drawdown alternatives, several platforms, flexible performance-fee options and the selective Alpha Prime route. The Alpha Pro 8% and 10% plans are the clearest general starting points for traders who value fixed maximum drawdown. Alpha Swing stands out for longer-duration trading.
The weaknesses are equally real. One and Direct use trailing drawdown. On-demand requests introduce best-day conditions. Qualified accounts can face news, lot, allocation, IP and automation restrictions. The new Max Risk Rule makes per-asset floating loss a potential account-ending limit from the Qualified stage.
GradTraders rating: 8.2/10 — UK-headquartered comparison. Alpha deserves a proper comparison, but I would choose the plan from the funded-stage rules rather than the evaluation headline.
Alpha Capital Group Review FAQ
Is Alpha Capital Group a broker?
No. Alpha Capital Group states that it is a proprietary trading company rather than a broker. Customers pay for evaluations or qualified-style programmes in a simulated environment; they are not depositing money into a personal brokerage account.
What Alpha Capital Group programmes are available in 2026?
The current lineup includes Alpha Pro two-step plans, Alpha Swing, Alpha One one-step plans, Alpha Three and the Alpha Direct instant-qualified account. The exact target, drawdown, payout and holding rules differ by route.
What are the Alpha One profit targets?
Alpha One currently has 6%, 10% and 12% one-step versions. Their trailing maximum drawdowns are 4%, 6% and 8% respectively, with daily limits of 3%, 4% and 5%.
How does Alpha Pro work?
Alpha Pro is a two-step evaluation. The current Pro 6% plan uses 6% targets in both phases with 6% static maximum drawdown; Pro 8% uses 8% then 5% with 8% static drawdown; Pro 10% uses 10% then 5% with 10% static drawdown.
What is Alpha Direct?
Alpha Direct is Alpha Capital Group’s instant-qualified route with no evaluation target. It currently uses 5% trailing maximum drawdown, 3% daily drawdown, a 3% profit buffer, a 15% best-day rule and a 90% performance-fee split.
How often can Alpha Capital traders request performance fees?
Eligible traders can choose on-demand performance fees on supported plans or a bi-weekly option on supported Alpha Pro and Alpha Three accounts. On-demand requests have plan-specific profit and best-day requirements, while bi-weekly requests begin on a 14-day cycle and have their own minimum trading-day conditions.
What is Alpha Capital Group’s Max Risk Rule?
For qualifying accounts purchased after 21 July 2026, the Max Risk Rule limits open drawdown on each asset. The published threshold is 3% on $5,000 to $25,000 accounts, 2% on $50,000 to $200,000 accounts and 1% on Alpha Direct accounts of any size.
Can Alpha Capital traders hold positions over the weekend?
Alpha One, Alpha Swing and Alpha Three currently permit weekend holding at all stages. Alpha Pro allows weekend holding during the evaluation but not on the Qualified Analyst account, while Alpha Direct does not allow weekend holding.
Does Alpha Capital Group allow news trading?
Evaluation-stage trading is generally more flexible, but Qualified Analyst accounts have plan-specific news rules. Pro, One, Three and Direct currently restrict opening or closing targeted instruments from five minutes before until five minutes after specified high-impact releases. Alpha Swing has a different rule.
Can I use an EA with Alpha Capital Group?
Risk-management and trade-assistance EAs may be permitted on MT5 when enabled and approved, but fully automated trading systems, third-party bots, high-frequency strategies and latency-arbitrage systems are prohibited. EA functionality is not available on every platform or plan.
Is Alpha Capital Group available in the United States?
Alpha Capital Group serves many countries, including the United States subject to current eligibility and platform restrictions. New US customers cannot currently open cTrader accounts, and MetaTrader 5 is not offered to US residents, leaving platform availability dependent on the live checkout options.
Has GradTraders personally tested Alpha Capital Group?
No. This review is research-led. GradTraders has not purchased an Alpha evaluation, traded a Qualified Analyst account or completed a performance-fee withdrawal, so the rating assesses the published programme rather than claiming first-hand payout evidence.
Source note: This review was checked on 23 July 2026 against Alpha Capital Group’s current official help centre, plan pages and terms. Rules, prices, platform access, country eligibility and payout conditions can change.
